Terms of Service
Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and UpTech doo Beograd-Čukarica (“UpTech”, “we”, “us”), Nedeljka Čabrinovića 33, 11030 Belgrade, Serbia, registration number 21629499, tax ID 112220768, for using Faylee: the web app at app.faylee.app, the browser extension, the site widget, the command line tool, the API and the MCP server. By creating an account or using Faylee, you agree to them. If you use Faylee for a company, you agree for that company and confirm you may do so.
1. Accounts and workspaces
- You need an account to use Faylee, except to send a recording through a recording link or a site widget, or to open a shared link.
- Accounts belong to a workspace. The workspace's owners and admins manage its members, roles, settings, connected tools and plan.
- Keep your login details safe and tell us at hello@faylee.app if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You must be at least 16 and give accurate information when you sign up.
2. Your content
Your content is everything you or your workspace's members, and the people who send your workspace recordings, put into Faylee: recordings, page replays, console and network data, comments, attachments and the like. It stays yours.
You give us permission to host, copy, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to run Faylee for you, including making previews, transcripts and the assistant's analysis when your plan includes them, and sending it to tools you connect. We do not use it to train AI models.
You are responsible for your content and for having the right to record it. In particular:
- Record only pages, apps and people you are allowed to record, and tell the people whose data you capture, as the law where you work requires.
- When you use recording links or the site widget to receive recordings from your own users, you are the controller of their data and must give them any notice and get any consent the law requires. Our Privacy Policy describes how we process it for you.
- Faylee hides common secrets automatically, but it cannot catch everything. Use workspace privacy rules and masking for sensitive data, and do not use Faylee to record health, payment card or other special categories of data unless you have the safeguards the law requires.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Faylee to:
- record people without the notice or consent the law requires, or spy on them
- upload malware, or content that is illegal, infringes someone's rights or harms others
- break into, overload, or get around the limits or security of Faylee or any other service
- copy, resell or build a competing product from Faylee, or reverse engineer it except as the law allows
We may suspend access that breaks these rules or puts Faylee or other customers at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
4. Plans, trials and payment
- Free has the limits shown on our pricing page and in the app, including that recordings are deleted after 14 days.
- Team is billed per seat, monthly or yearly. A seat is a member who can record, meaning an owner, admin or member. Viewers, who only watch and comment, are free. Adding or removing seated members changes your bill, prorated for the rest of the period.
- Trial. A workspace on Free can try Team once for 14 days without a card. When the trial ends, the workspace returns to Free unless it subscribes, and Free's limits apply again. Recordings made during the trial are kept until you delete them.
- Enterprise is agreed in a separate contract, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
- Payments are handled by Polar, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Polar sells you the subscription, charges your card, issues invoices and handles sales tax and VAT, under its own terms. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax unless shown otherwise.
- Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Plan page. Your workspace keeps Team until the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free.
- Refunds. Payments are not refundable except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise. Write to us if something went wrong.
- Price changes apply from your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days before.
5. Third-party tools
Faylee can connect to tools such as Linear, Jira, GitHub, Slack and Sentry. When you connect one, you tell Faylee to send data to it, and your use of it is under that tool's own terms. We are not responsible for third-party tools.
6. Our service
We work to keep Faylee available, secure and backed up, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We improve Faylee all the time and may change or remove features. If we remove something important to a paid plan, we will tell you ahead of time. Enterprise contracts may include a service level agreement.
Faylee, its software, design and brand belong to UpTech. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
7. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Faylee and ask us to delete your account or workspace at any time by writing to hello@faylee.app. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you do not pay, or if the law requires it. Before we delete a workspace for a reason other than a serious breach, we will give its owners a reasonable chance to export their recordings. After deletion, data is removed as our Privacy Policy describes.
8. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these terms, Faylee is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The assistant's summaries and suggested causes are generated by AI and can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for Faylee in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you have not paid. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or for death or personal injury.
10. Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or because you used Faylee against these terms or the law, you will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell workspace owners by email about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using Faylee after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before they take effect.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, and the courts in Belgrade have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protections of the law where you live and can bring claims in your local courts.
13. General
These terms, with our Privacy Policy and any order form or Enterprise contract, are the whole agreement between us about Faylee. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them to a company that takes over Faylee.
