The Faylee extension records bugs in your browser. A recording keeps the screen, what you said, what you clicked and typed, and the page’s console and network requests, all on one timeline, and you share it as one link.

Get Faylee in the Chrome Web Store
  1. Open Faylee in the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
  3. Click the puzzle piece in the toolbar and pin Faylee, so its icon stays in the toolbar.
  4. Click the Faylee icon and connect it to your workspace. Install the extension walks through creating a workspace and connecting.

Faylee needs Chrome 116 or newer. It installs from the same store listing in Edge, Brave and Arc. Edge first asks you to allow extensions from other stores.

Chrome keeps the extension up to date on its own.

When you add Faylee, Chrome says it can read and change data on all websites. Faylee needs that to capture the console, network requests and steps of whichever page you record. For instant replay it keeps the last few minutes of each open page in your browser, and nothing leaves your browser until you share. It never captures browser pages such as settings, the new tab page and the Chrome Web Store, and keeps no instant replay in incognito windows. Privacy and redaction covers what it keeps and what it hides.

  • The Faylee icon is missing. Click the puzzle piece in the toolbar and pin Faylee.
  • The popup asks you to connect. The extension is not connected to a workspace yet. Click Connect to your Faylee workspace and follow Connect your browser.
  • The popup says “Open a website to record it”. You are on a browser page, which Faylee never records. Switch to a website.
  • Nothing happens in a private window. Turn on Allow in Incognito for Faylee in chrome://extensions.
